Seguinte: o Buddy Miles foi o homem das baquetas da Band of Gypsys do Hendrix, da Electric Flag e do Santana, entre outros; o Bootsy foi da Funkadelic e do Parliament e o Salas é um guitarrista do caramba. Esse disco foi lançado primeiro no Japão e lá a banda chamou-se Third Eye, mas quando foram lançar nos EUA, viram que esse nome já tinha banda e mudaram prá Hardware.

Peter Hammill - The Silent Corner and the Empty Stage (1974)


Hammill é o multi-instrumentista, compositor, poeta e produtor inglês, fundador do grupo Van Der Graaf Generator. E este álbum solo bem que poderia ser um disco da VDGG, já que todo mundo está aí. De fato a última faixa foi composta para o disco do VDGG que se seguiria ao Pawn Hearts mas a banda deu um tempo. Talvez por isso tenha um tom meio melodramático.

John Lee Hooker & The Groundhogs - Hooker & The Hogs (1965)



The Groundhogs foi (é) uma banda formada em 1963 durante o boom do blues britânico, liderada por T.S.(Tony) McPhee, um guitarrista muito interessante e versátil. O nome veio de uma canção do bluesman americano John Lee Hooker(LP House of Blues) e por um tempo até foram chamados de John Lee's Groundhogs (Marmotas de John Lee).
McPhee trabalhava nos correios e foi convidado a se juntar à banda de um companheiro de trabalho, o baixista John Cruickshank, inicialmente chamada The Dollarbills. Como não gostava nem do nome nem do pop que tocavam, McPhee os convenceu a mudar e saíram tocando blues e R&B pelos clubes da vida e gravando alguns obscuros singles. A formação era: Tony McPhee (guitarra),John Cruickshank (vocais),Pete Cruickshank (baixo) e Dave Boorman(bateria).
Eles foram tão bons e criaram tão boa reputação que o próprio John Lee Hooker os convidou para ser a banda de apoio em sua primeira turnê pela Inglaterra, em 64. A empatia entre eles foi tanta que Hooker preferiu viajar na van surrada deles e sempre os requisitou em suas turnês posteriores. Dessa união saiu um álbum chamado Hooker & The Hogs, gravado em 65 (com Tom Parker ao piano), uma boa amostra do delicioso boogie do Hooker. Os Hogs tocam em 11 faixas e as outras 4 são bônus do Hooker solo.
