Aqui estão dois álbuns de Champion jack Dupree produzidos pelo inglês Mike Vernon, um dos responsáveis pelo boom do blues britânico, produtor de John Mayall, Fleetwood Mac, Ten Years After, Savoy Brown e do álbum de estréia de David Bowie, entre muitos outros.
Dupree mudou-se para a Inglaterra em 1959 porque lá era muito mais reconhecido. Percebe-se isso só de ver os caras que tocam com ele no primeiro CD. Nas gravações desse álbum Mayall conheceu Keef Hartley e o levou para sua Bluesbreakers.
