The Groundhogs - Hogwash (1972)

Um pouco depois do Who Will Save The World saiu o Hogwash. Nele há um novo baterista, Clive Brooks, um cara que veio do cenário prog e Canterburry, mais precisamente da ótima banda Egg, e isso daria um ar ainda mais inovador ao trabalho dos Hogs. Muito legau esse disco.

Peter Cruikshank -baixos Gibson EB3 e Zemaitis
Clive Brooks -bateria Geoge Hayman

Picking a favorite Groundhogs album is a tough call for me, so which to choose first to hear again for the first time in approx 20 years. I ope for Hogwash, as it was the first one I ever owned, and wasvery taken by it.
Thanx for the opportunity to hear it again Marcelo!

Hi Al! It's a difficult choice for me too. But Split touches me a bit more deeply.

This album, 'Split' and 'Thank Christ For The Bomb' were all constantly on my turntable at university in the '70's. A trio of essential British blues/rock that should not be forgotten.

Many thanks for this wonderful series of posts.
